White Noise is an ongoing series of photographs made through windows of moving cars, trains or busses.
2017 to present
This work is to be published in zines that follow specific trips, long and short. These volumes will be self-published published periodically through Sad Bird Books in chronological order. Each volume will briefly chronicle the trip depicted in the photographs to the best of my memory’s allowance. The first volume, Guard Rails & Runaway Ramps, is a precursor or “Volume Zero,” a forerunner of sort that inevitably led me to begin making photographs out of car windows in the years to come. These first pictures were made in 2011 on a point-and-shoot camera.
