Arbor, Neighbor

Arbor, Neighbor is my first large-scale series of color photographs. In 2017, a hard moment had come up with an old friend, during that time we had escaped to a nearby forest and lake to unwind. Things between me and that person drifted apart but I found myself drawn to this forest repeatedly in the following year, as if trying to decipher the emotions I felt. The range in color, light, and seasons aided in this exploration of emotional landscape photography.
